Feature Request: Ability to disable automatic reordering of panes as focus changes #160

I use Chrome heavily and frequently lose tabs among a couple dozen windows - Tab Manager Plus is great for helping me locate and use tabs. But it is incredibly disorienting as I am attempting to do tab management to have the panes shuffle wildly around as the focused Chrome window changes. I want to be able to just click a button to make everything stay put so I can read it.

This is an incredibly large problem with my "focus follows mouse" style window manager. Simply moving the mouse across the screen, as it crosses windows, input focus shifts immediately to the window under the cursor, without clicking anything. This means that if I move the mouse to another window, possibly crossing existing ones, all the panes in Tab Manager Plus shuffle around quickly, which makes it very nearly unusable. If my mouse wasn't already over the window with Tab Manger Plus, and I see the tab I want - and move the mouse to click on it, the instant my mouse touches the window with Tab Manager Plus in it, the tab I was attempting to click on is gone, because now the panes have shuffled again. I'm basically limited to just using the search within Tab Manager Plus, because then my mouse can stay within the window the whole time I'm finding and selecting a tab.

I realize that Windows and Macintosh users won't be using the focus follows mouse style selection, but this is pretty common on *nix style window managers. I just need to be able to disable the automatic pane reordering so I'm not chasing down things to click on them.

Perhaps there is already a way to do this, but I haven't been able to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

I second that request. When we use many windows to manage what we browse through, we like to keep the order of our windows in the same order.

I third this request! I have my tabs grouped by categories in different windows. Naming the windows has helped, but I still end up using the search function quite a bit. I would love to be able to keep them in a specific order. Having ADHD, this app has been a life saver for me, but I still get distracted when I have to look through/search the windows to find what I'm looking for. Having an option to keep my windows in order would greatly benefit me because distraction is a huge problem and regaining focus can be extremely difficult. I'd even go so far as to say this is an accessibility issue for me and others like me.
