Question about choosing a topic idea #6

Hi Prof. Bund,

Regarding the topic idea that we need to pitch on Tuesday, does the idea need to be something completely new, or can it be something that supplements, adds on to, or utilizes an existing product or service? Like, it could be something possibly pitched to another existing service to see if they want to implement it or to implement support to the application I want to build.

For example, a camera app specifically tailored to flickr which allows for convenient editing, organization, and tagging of photos to and within flickr from the moment of capture. (That is not the idea I am currently thinking about, but is a similar concept. I am still brainstorming ideas.)

Thank you,

Andy Cook (name Andrew Cook in the CPP system, from your T/Th 1pm class)

Andy, you can pitch in idea for an actual system. I am also pleased to hear ideas on things that are not yet systems, such as situations that could potentially benefit from a system, also.
