Now that you are considering how to incorporate Acrobat in your organization, what business processes seem ripe or economization, automation and general improvement?
I think all the features that we learned can be beneficial to the company I work for. I would also encourage the electronic signature for everyone in my organization as often times management is traveling and not available to provide approvals on document that have hard due dates. Forms would be another one as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, they often tend to be changed because they weren't set up to fillable in the first place. I also like the accessibility pdf document as it allows you to move into different linked websites without having to go into a different browser and typing the email address.
I am actually going to start working on a digital form for myself as a contractor to send out to clients. As a designer contracts are required and I do most of my work remotely. Instead of having a form filled out, signed, scanned and sent back I think this would speed up the process for many people in returning them to me. I have not yet created a digital signature for myself but this will be something I do in the near future.

I'd like to implement the signature feature for business contracts to the company. We send roughly 2-3 contracts on a daily basis, both electronically and via snail mail. Although the company wants us to be efficient, we still have to make hard copies for our clients as they're used to the traditional and formal way of receiving documents on bonded paper. This causes a huge delay, since we cannot start on the engagement until we receive a signature from our clients. I think it's due time to accept signed contracts with an electronic signature in a PDF.
Maybe it is not immediately obvious how to make progress and introduce innovation, but how, perhaps, can the digital document process involving Acrobat make a difference?
It will keep a company well organized and efficient. We're currently using a software called LaserFiche dedicated to organizing our digital files, and Acrobat PDF files are the main type of digital documents that we store in the software. The files are easily accessible, compressed, and user friendly. We save all contracts, client's private information, and all issued PDFs in case we need to reference them in the future. This is a great way to organize hundreds of paperwork without taking up any physical office space, and can be stored in a back harddrive.
