Introduction: Setting the Stage #16

While writing this portion of the essay, are we "setting the stage" for the work in our essay? Or the prior work and references of stress we researched?

The introduction is light work compared to the lit survey, DOD, DOE where the real writing takes place.

Intro does what you say it does — sets the stage, without overlapping details that belong in LIT/DOD/DOE

Keep it summary, shining light on your conclusions,

review the PPTs, which go over this extensively
