I use pidgin with gfire plugin...this would be a fantastic feature for both
projects.

I don't quite understand the issue. Isn't xfire a protocol? As soon as it is
supported
by Pidgin (with the gfire plugin), our plugin should also work with it.

Im sorry....i mistakenly mislabeled this as an "issue", then could not find
tools to
edit and move it to enhancement.... i simply want to be able to use
embeddedvideo
plugin to display xfire videos in my chat window when i chat with my xfire
friends
via pidgin.....yes xfire is a protocol...but they have a tremendous database of
user
videos....which is not listed as a supported video site:

"Supported video sites are CollegeHumor, Dailymotion, Google Video, Metacafe,
MySpace
Video, Trilulilu (all the stuff: audio, images and video), Vimeo, Yahoo! Video
and
Youtube."

can Xfire video be added to this list? i know they use flash based player to
display
their video content.

here is an example of a video i have on the xfire site..but there are
millions
others by this time....

thanks again for the time...and great work also!
