Reason need this to be visible is that people don't use their browser settings to change the stylesheet to meet their access needs.
This was a big issue from the 9 blind people we did user experience research with and all did not use their browser settings or know how to.
style sheet selector:
Normal / Medium / Large text / high contrast yellow text / black background white text/ black background high contrast defaults to yellow text / black background with large text
dyslexia options: pastal coloured background (rather than white or black as too harsh) colours tend to be light yellow and light orange (two choices) e.g. http://www.equalityhumanrights.com/?colr=orange http://www.bdadyslexia.org.uk/
I can get Laura to advise on code?
Yellow / Black Black / Yellow etc.
Alison - please supply a list of the stylesheets we need.
