BMAG update, photos, virtual tour + memory limit #60

  1. Can they be resized showing as different sizes on my macbook and ipad
  2. We need to limit size and memory size of photos
  3. BMAG building has limited disability access due to building works and way in is complicated as result. They want to use gg to show the different routes including film with a member of staff showing the way. Also keen to use the widget on website (how's that going?)

That should happen this week so is the video section up to take it?

We already scale the images to different sizes. What were you thinking there?

Widget is happening, I just need to see what they might need from it?

I've added a "notice" to the venue. If you go to admin and edit the Notice field you will see that you can make a red warning notice appear at the top of the venu page. This is a good place to start for what they need.

The need to show on an access page and update any changes and notices e.g. links back to go genie to the video and pictures as the middle bit of the bridge to museum is closed and so is one of the main access lifts. It is changing daily so need easy way of displaying that.

Also we were going to use the 360 tour of the venue to show acces points and tags like toilets etc. I send the code over a while back. That is less urgent but is useful.

I'm a little concerned about this. We've built an app that does something. It seems like BMAG actually want a content management system of their own, which isn't really in the scope of what we're trying to achieve here, I don't think. Or at least it's a significant amount of work to design and build whatever it is that they need. Can they make use of the new "Notice" feature by emailing you with the updates to add and then you go in and change the text manually?

I think size wise was wondering whether they would automatically save as thumbnails and then clicking on them they can view the full image (would that tidy it up?)
