Fix test execution #3

Version 2.22.2 of the maven-surefire plugin is now used to execute tests which makes custom providers/dependencies unnecessary.

Side comment: The weird part with the coverage results after merging this pull request, is that coverage went from the 92% it had before the sudden drop, to 98% (99% on coveralls). I have no idea why (but I'm not complaining)...:-)
