Oh right, I had that problem before too.

I think I have the fix for it pending one of my major checkins with adding 
items to bags

(basically, the required attribute_sets are getting copied over to contained 
items on every submission, which shouldn't be happening.  It should just be for 
new contained items.)

Should be good now.

You will need to clear out the invalid item_attribute_values (or just reset the 
database) on staging to get rid of the old entries.
