Stellar aims to be become an "common financial platform, designed to be open and accessible to everyone".

It would greatly benefit from a precise documentation of the protocol.

Successful open systems like the World Wide Web have shown that it is crucial to have a precise definition of the underlying protocol to allow anyone to create interoperable implementations.

Would the preference be for this to be "RFC style" in the same style as IETF documents or more like W3C recommendations?
