Illicit or fraudulent activity. Imitating some kind of USDT tokens. Falsified claims of asset anchoring/backing with XLM but is not even close to being anchored. Issuer account lock status:unlocked.Pump and dump schemes.

Thank you for your issue report.

I have been following this group for almost one year. They have exteme Libertarian beliefs that are clearly stated in their website (montelibero.org). What I have observed is their idealism is not in alingment with the realities of world economics or the political landscape. But that is kind of what they are going for and believe. They state (I believe is factual) that they have started a commune they call MTL City. I personally do not believe they are helping society or have a plan that will actually work. I will fully admit that I do not "see" their vision.

With that said they have been working on their token projects starting back in spring 2021. Their tokens have a very small number of holders and a small volume of trading. The tokens that they claim are "backed" seem to hold a peg, but due to the small volume of the market any large offer would most likely cause problems. The market book has a farely small margin and does support their pegging efforts. Any token that is "backed" would by definition need to be unlocked to create and burn tokens to match the backing assets.

I have not fully reviewed all there dozen+ token projects recently and would be very willing to look into specific data you have found. I have not seen the pump and dump that you mentioned and would be interested in following up on that.

Please feel free to reopen this issue with new information. I know we will be continuing to watch this project. We are not about making judgements on a project, but to lable counterfeits, serial scam minters, infringement issues, and overt cons.
