CloudFormation template S3 Access Denied. #6

Setting up Asgard can be a bit of a pain, so Stelligent has developed a CloudFormation template and Chef cookbooks to set up an EC2 instance and deploy Asgard to it.

Not sure why you're getting that error. The cfn template is also available in github: https://github.com/stelligent/asgard-in-the-cloud/blob/master/asgard.template

That said, Asgard has been deprecated by Netflix in favor of Spinnaker which you may want to check out instead.
