text version of files #1

Could add text version of files such as a comma-separated-file instead of xls?

Let me first say that I hate spreadsheet files and that such a reason alone would be something to not use this manufacturer.

Sadly all this process is a real pain with manually managed stuff with a process that feels like the one I helped a company automatize in the 1980s. Even more sadly, the competition is not much better.

So I'd love to use CSV (or even plain text) files instead of XLS, but dolorously that is not possible, otherwise what shown here is not what is communicated to the vendor.

To give at least a vague appearance of usefulness, I did add those CSV right now. I did my best to make everything right, but with this process a mistake is just around the corner at each step. For example I noticed that LibreOffice has a bug for which "Save As" sometimes prepopulates the suggested name with the original name of the file with the appropriately changed extension, some other times it gives the Untiled 1 name (which is irritating, but not a big deal) and some other times picks one of the existing files with that extension already existing in that directory, which one can inadvertently overwrite. Sigh.
