Once I launch Desktop on my Ubuntu, an additional application icon (though without actual logo) appears in the menu bar:
Also when checking for Unity Launcher for Stencila (following https://askubuntu.com/questions/894990/how-to-change-an-icon-in-16-04) locate .desktop | grep stencila returns nothing (whilst it does return path to .*desktop files for other applications.
locate .desktop | grep stencila
.*desktop
