xterm window launched by GUI is white with black text #5

This makes it hard to read the coloured text, especially the light gray.

By the looks of it you are running a modified kde theme not the stock one, I 
guess this is why you have not seen it.

I haven't tested this on other themes, but can see why it would not look good.

Changed xterm to launch with '-bg black -fg white'.  Should solve the issue.

Fixed in revision 19.
