can't compile on ubuntu 10.10; checking for main in -lGL ... no #12

Hi,

I get 

"checking for main in -lGL       ... no"

during configure on ubuntu 10.10 desktop.

i dont' know what i can do. is a package missing?

sudo apt-get install libx11-dev libgl1-mesa-dev libxrender-dev portaudio19-dev 
libavcodec-dev libavformat-dev libswscale-dev libavdevice-dev

That should do the trick.

I followed your instructions at your wiki. I had already installed the listed 
packages.
but i tried to install them again. no luck, same error message. 

do you have a another tip?

i fixed my problem... after installing the ubuntu security-updates AND 
reinstalling the ati-catalyst-driver and reinstalling the required packages i 
was able to compile boblight...
