The download link to libmodbus v3.1.1 http://libmodbus.org/site_media/build/libmodbus-3.1.1.tar.gz.tar.gz is including a duplicate tar.gz and therefore is broken

It is not broken everywhere. It is only broken in the text part of this site http://libmodbus.org/download/
