Please let me know which version of PhyML you are using here and what the command-line options are as well.
Hi Stephane,
I used the websitehttp://www.atgc-montpellier.fr/phyml/. Settings were:
Data type = DNA Substitution Model = Automatic, with Selection Criterion =AIC Starting tree = BIONJ Type of tree improvement = SPR Number of random starting tree = 10 (yes)
Fast likelihood-based method = no Perform bootstrap = yes.
The input file is available herehttps://drive.google.com/open?id=1msppIp4C3v0wsWGS47Ad_P9t9kSDMa_g in case it is useful. It seems to work file, except when using random starting trees.
Thank you, Leon

Hello, The results email is saying "Unexpected error: no inferred tree result file. Execution time: 0 minute(s)" when the option is selected for a random starting tree. When that option is not selected, the input file processes fine, producing a result. I have tried this several times (including with an input file that worked previously), but if it helps, one of the jobs that didn't work was JobID 2307089. Thank you, Leon
