Hello @stephenmcd ,

First of all thanks for such a great library and your effort on it.

Would be great to know the current status of development for this project? Are there any active collaborator on it?

As there is no response on issue I could suggest that there is no activity on this project. I could recommend to transform it to jazzband, but we still need lead developer who will support it.
