Implements a DRY approach to avoid repeating default values for django-ios-notifications-specific settings.

(Note: this branch was spawned off the fix_tests branch; it should be merged only if fix_tests is also merged as is. See https://github.com/stephenmuss/django-ios-notifications/pull/49)
