Fix/less than count #18

This Merge addresses Issue #16.

Fixes and refactoring

Updated how user defined max chars/words is obtained
Refactored how words are counted, improving accuracy by also removing html tags.
Beefed up checks for is chars or words
Adjusted how ellipse is joined
Moved link template to it's own method
Added examples to demo
