ur1.ca shortening service resulting in "failure" appearing in messages #5

The problem is that when the ur1.ca shortening service is applied to URLs in a message (for shortening), this seems to result frequently in "failure" appearing in place of the shortened URL.

The problem appears to be the ur1.ca shortening service. When a URL has already been shortened by the service, it returns a page that says so but never offers the existing shortened URL. I don't know if this is new or if this behavior was always there and for some reason I am tickling it now. Either way, I had to protect against this, because it ruins messages to have the word "failure" randomly appear! I have checked for "failure" and skipped the shortening when this happens. This is available in tag v1.1.4 onward.
