It would be great to have a(n optional) competition at the satRday events, eg to create an R-driven dashboard to present a given dataset. The attendees would prepare a Shiny or other R project and submit before the event, then the best 3/5/10 projects could be presented in 5/10 minutes at the conference (late afternoon as a final event?) and the audience can vote on the best submission. The first prize could be eg a ticket + accommodation at the next useR! conference :)
