I only need a warm white strip so i am looking to buy a WW LED strip 3528. I want to be able to turn them on/off and dim them. What controller do i need to get ( in the US via Amazon) and how should my Config.json look?

This isn’t the plugin for you. The smallest setup available is a 3 channel RGB controller. Even if you were to use only 1 of those channels, the user interface would not reflect it and would still display the color wheel.

My suggestion to you is to find another controller that’s supported by homebridge which does exactly what you want.
