Did you check the docs and existing issues?

Neovim version (nvim -v)

0.9.5

Operating system/version

Arch Linux 6.7.6-arch1-1

Describe the bug

When file preview is enabled, visual block mode does not work since it switches back to normal mode whenever I change to another line.

What is the severity of this bug?

tolerable (can work around it)

Steps To Reproduce

  1. nvim -u repro.lua to open nvim
  2. :Oil to open oil
  3. <C-p> to enable preview
  4. <C-v> to enter visual block mode
  5. j/kto move to another line

Expected Behavior

Nvim should remain in visual block mode when changing lines
