SIMBL stalls on "Preparing SIMBL" on installer

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start installation wizard, reach the "Installation" step.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect that SIMBL should finish the installation, it stays on "Preparing 
SIMBL" and doesn't finish 
the installation (After 5 minutes).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

SIMBL 0.9.7.c on OS X 10.6.2

Please provide any additional information below.

From my logs:

2010/01/10 1:35:43 PM   Installer[462]  *** -[NSMachPort handlePortMessage:]: 
dropping 
incoming DO message because the connection or ports are invalid

I found a fix for this issue; the iPhone simulator. Closing the simulator 
allows the installer to install properly.
