fatal error theme update #26

Just github server not responding.

lower fatal error to warning or notice. something so page doesn't completely break.

I got that the error is due to github. when is the last time you were able to do the update? I tried to do it over the weekend but i always got the error. perhaps their api has changed? we may have to abandon using github and use regular web hosting instead like you are doing with the backup manager plugin because right now it looks like github is almost always down.
