If I were to create one, would you willing to test it before I published it? Which distro are you using? Which DAW?

RustoMCSpit commented 2 months ago

linux mint lts and bitwig

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

Okay, I've got a candidate. Could you give it a try?: https://f001.backblazeb2.com/file/steve-folta/sfzq/sfzq.2024.9.3.clap.tgz

RustoMCSpit commented 2 months ago

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

browser wont download from website

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

That's odd. Try wget or curl, maybe.

RustoMCSpit commented 2 months ago

just put it on the release and i'll download it

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

I'll release it after you've tested it.

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

I really want to get at least that small bit of testing (outside of what I do myself) before releasing it.

i'll build it then and tell you

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

I want to get the release-candidate binary tested. Please download that.

RustoMCSpit commented 2 months ago

is that a specific branch or? i can just download it and build it myself and tell you if it works

stevefolta commented 2 months ago

Its a binary .clap file, but built in a specific way (some of the details are mentioned in issue #2), so it can hopefully work on most people's machines. If wget or curl don't work for you, please let me know what the error is so I can try to figure out a way around your download problem. Again, I'm hoping you'll be able and willing to test that pre-built binary release candidate.
