This course will introduce students to emerging technologies used in storytelling from Virtual Reality headsets, to 360 Video to Robots. Students will have the opportunity to learn and work with the latest VR hardware including the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive.
Things change fast! During our lecture today, Apple was awarded a patent for wireless VR glasses. Interesting the diagrams don't show full immersion. This could be Apple not tipping their hand or it could be more of an Augmented Reality solution. Not sure at the moment but things are looking good!
