It would be useful if the drag handle could also be used to drag list items as expected.
Furthermore it would be practical to drag several nodes at the same time.

Have a look at the following extension i created, based on your drag handle.
Please note that in order to get the expected behavior for lists, e.g. if a list item or several list items are dropped before or after a list, the two lists are merged, another extension of mine must be used.
