This is already planned (#34). It's labeled as Shapeshifter on the tracker. The disguise ability completely removes the tag, doesn't make it hidden. I can make a custom effect to display that they're hidden, but it does put more strain on the server, but I'll do it.
Actually, it appears to be impossible (well very difficult stuff that I don't currently know with syncvars) to make a custom displayable player effect, I did try as well and it didn't work.
If you can find a way to make a tag not visible while playing but visible when in spectator.
Otherwise, not the best solution, using the hidetag command on the player would make his tag invisble to all except the server's staff having access to the permission to see the hidden tag.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A new ability / variant of disguise; the player would use a command to disguise into another role by using (and deleting) a body.
May also have an optional float for the duration of the disguise and could have a second one for the time it takes to apply the effects (it should takes a few seconds, at least, to switch uniforms).
Describe the solution you'd like Ex : A class D use this on the body of a guard and he turns into a guard while the body has disappeared.
Describe alternatives you've considered N/A
Additional context The last update includes "The Disguise ability now hides badges." does that means the badge is visible to the server staff with the permission to see hidden badge - Like "admin (hidden) when we use .hidetag ? Why not making it toggeable in the boolean option - instead of limiting it to one ability ?
Also, an exiled dev told me, it's possible to create a personalize effect and apply it to people, then the Spectators could see that this person has the effect when on its view - like it shows SCP-207 effect. It would be an alternative to the hidden tag has that would only helps for servers moderators - this would make everyone sees and understand his "secret role".
