Windows rises to the front #2

When hovering over an app to see the thumbnail, it also brings the window to the front. Is this intended behavior? If it is, is there any way I can disable this?

Sorry for the late, late reply. I’m planning on fixing this by either: Editing AltTab’s source code to make it scriptable and sending apple events from DockAltTab (but I’m afraid it would then need automation privileges as well). OR discontinue DockAltTab and instead maintain a separate “AltTab+” branch (with all the DockAltTab features built in)

That was the intended behavior, with no way of disabling, but here's a very late glimmer of hope for v2.0 ✨

I had this finished a couple weeks ago, but could not get the changes integrated into the official AltTab. Apparently I have to tell people to raise issues on their GitHub for him to maybe implement them. So I will be maintaining a separate AltTab branch from now on that DockAltTab works with. You will be able to download a copy from the releases here, or on https://dockalttab.netlify.app shortly.

DockAltTab v2 is out now and brings a fix to your issue regarding bringing windows to the front.
