Cannot click link in slider, Safari / IOS #1195

The same problem as described in #1188 but for Safari on an iPhone. Applied the pull request in #1191 (which works well in Firefox) but it does not solve the problem on iOS/Safari.

Verified on multiple devices.

Same issue for Chrome on Android 4.4. Problem appeared since the last release.

Also occurring on latest Safari/Chrome on iOS 11.3

Same issue for Windows Chrome 66.0.3359.139 in developer console while using the device toolbar.

Also occures on Android Chrome.

PLEASE FIX IT!
