Cannot download shared datasets #36

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check a shared dataset in the source catalog
2. Click Download
3. Success message, but no file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect file in Local Path. See no file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1.2

Yes. This is a known issue(Issue 23). 

The design goal for reportsync was to migrate reports and map them to the 
different datasources on your destination servers. That is why it does not copy 
existing datasources. It will only search for datasources of the same name on 
the destination server. 

I understand that providing the facility to move datasources can come handy in 
some cases, like backups. 

Will add this as a feature request and try to incorporate it in a future version

Thank you for getting back to me promptly. ReportSync is a lovely tool. #36 is 
not a Defect. It is a suggested enhancement. I am NOT referring to DataSources 
as mention in 23. I refer to Shared Data Sets, which I use allot to support 
caching of results in SSRS. Does this make sense? Will you consider please?

Oh, thanks for the clarification. Since DataSets are related to Datasources, I 
grouped them together. I never got around to implementing that feature yet. But 
Now that you too have asked for something similar, I will try to put it into 
the next version.
