Transparency of the sidebar does not work (ubuntu64bit) #40

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run widgets with Ubuntu+Compiz

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Transparency doesn't work for the sidebar, it is white/light gray by
default and little more "greyed" when I mouseover it... Transparency works
for the widgets when I drag them though (and I don't have transparency of
windows set up on compiz).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Doesn't work on RHEL 5 on x86_64 either. Might this be an x86_64 problem?

I found it is probably a general JavaFX issue - see the examples at javafx.com,
no
examples that use transparency work...
