Switch between Discrete/Integrated via keyboard shortcuts #19

Is there any way to switch between Discrete/Integrated via keyboard shortcuts? I am trying to troubleshoot a GPU issue and when one freezes but the computer is still functioning I am unable to switch to the other GPU with the mouse and a keyboard shortcut would help greatly. Thanks!

I've tried to create a shortcut manually through System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcut by adding the app and manually entering the name of the menu item but I just get the error sound when I use the shortcut. It seems that the Keyboard system preferences doesn't have access to menu bar apps I think.

its a good idea I will keep it on the list to possibly enhance it someday, but don't hold your breathe waiting...

Hi, do you have any idea why the globally assigned shortcut isn't working? As shown here I've assigned the custom keyboard shortcut properly but pressing it seems to do nothing (initially it was making the error sound because it hadn't updated yet but now it seems to be assigned but not working when the shortcut is pressed). Thanks.

sorry I don't know. You should ask Cody about that on version 2.3. I'm not that much of a mac programmer, I just changed a couple lines that needed changing for 2.4.4i.
