change generators to use markdown rather than HTML #146

use https://github.com/Commit451/bypasses or other markdown -> spannable?

don't do this until French Translation of Perilous Wilds is completed.

also, consider: we move Markdown output into core (rather than HTML)... does that limit platforms?
