Hide messages/nicknames with custom bad words #300

Hi,

Thanks for making this tool available for free. Recently, a troll used my Kick chat to post bad words during a multistream. While Kick's AI moderation quickly removed the message and banned the user, Social Stream (chrome extension v3) still showed the message in the dockable overlay. I initially thought this was due to the message delay setting, which I’ve now set to 5000ms, hoping this will give more time for Social Stream to react to the moderated messages.

I've also tried the bad words filter and uploaded a list in a .txt file, which works, but it doesn’t seem to catch bad words when they're part of longer strings, like "badword123." It would be great if the filter could detect bad words that aren’t separated by spaces and have option to skip these messages entirely. I'd also like to request the same functionality for nicknames, allowing us to use the same bad word list or upload a separate file for nicknames.

There is an AI censor bot as part of Social Stream Ninja now:

It might be too much load for some users to run on their computers, but it should detect not just bad words, but will filter out negativity , politics, and others. It's not perfect, but its an improvement.

If you have the dock added to OBS as a dockable element also, you can block users there, and it will delete messages from that dock and the overlay browser source also. This may require a moderator.

For Twitch and Youtube, I auto-delete messages if Youtube/twitch deletes the message to, so I stay in sync, but other sites I haven't added support to yet. I'll add support to Kick when I get a chance.

As for making the bad word list work better, and have it apply to nick names, I can work on improving it. Users are clever, so its not entirely feasible to block every trick in the book.

Another option I can add for Kick, which I've added to Youtube, is the option to delay the capture of messages. This gives the system time to delete messages, or mods to delete it, and then Social Stream Ninja won't capture it. This adds delay of course, and I need to manually add custom code to each site to support this, but I can add them as needed as I have a chance.

I added this option, kick specific. It adds 3 seconds to the Kick chat, which should give enough time for both mods and the kick AI to delete the message if its bad.

Thank you for the quick updates to the extension. I've updated to version 3.2.7 with the Kick delay feature and will test it with the ollama chatbot to see if it improves message filtering moving forward.

Though I'm still wondering if it's possible to add an option to skip or hide messages with bad words, instead of showing them with stars in the overlay. Update: When setting up ollama 3.2 through powerShell, it does in fact filter a bad test word i've uploaded to the .txt file and does not show the message in the overlay which is what I've wanted.
