You will need to use these apps: WinRar (can be downloaded from here: https://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-602.exe) And Dotnet 5.0: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet/5.0 (I don't really sure about that)

  1. Download a Terraclient. https://github.com/TML-Patcher/Terraclient/releases/download/0.0.1.0-alpha-21w22a/Terraclient-v0.0.1.0-alpha-21w22a.zip
  2. Go to your Steam app.
  3. Find Terraria in your library, click a right mouse button & press a "Properties".
  4. Go to a "Local File" tab in opened window and click a "Browse button".
  5. Open a downloaded Terraclient zip file and unpack it with all replacements in a game folder.
  6. Close all opened stuff and click a "Play" button in Steam.

Once it opened it will crash with a popout of something like "Dotnet 5.0 didn't found" error or something else (I can't remember exactly that moment cuz my browsing history clears automatically). But when it happened you just need to type a name of necessary component in Google or whatever search engine and download it from Microsoft website (cuz I downloaded something from their website that were necessary component to open Terraclient).

  1. Don't think WinRar is necessary as Windows 10 should come with built-in unzipping capabilities.
  2. No errors will be thrown about .NET 5.0 not being found if you already have it installed.

You can type .help in Terraria chat menu. There is no any kinda options to modify items use time through this client :(

I don't really know about that. Keep experimenting with it on your own. If something went wrong - you can verify integrity of game files through Steam.

That version of the patcher haven't been released yet, but you can build one yourself. You might join the discord for help with the build process
