Would be good to have an idea of how far away a corner is as it's pretty difficult to judge speed (more on that later) and distance to the corner. A couple of braking boards ahead of the corners would be handy :)
Graphics could be pretty simple - white box with distance written in it
Positioning the boards could either be as a track add-on (e.g. another .json with track decorations in it, with the boards positioned manully), or calculated during building the track... The former would be easier to code, but more admin when creating a track, the latter would be much more flexible, but probably difficult to know what would be useful if the tracks become more detailed... Sounds like we need to call on Bruce!
