Selected Power Zone is different from that shown in custom workout details. #44

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create custom workout in Garmin Workouts.
2. Create step that uses "Keep speed in a certain zone."
3. Select which speed zone you want (Slow Walk, Walk, Fast Walk etc).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In workout details section, speed should match selection. However, it
"advances" the selected speed by one level. For instance, the above zones
will show up as Walk, Fast Walk, Slow Jog etc.

This also occurs when importing from either the device or from file. The
imported workouts all show different speeds in the "Details" section
despite the proper selection in the drop-down menu.

All Garmin Workouts settings and zone attributes have been verified both
manually and automatically using the Setup Wizard.

A screenshot has been attached.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest Version 1.0.255 on Windows XP 32bit.

What Garmin unit are you using?
Forerunner 305

If the problem is with import/export to device, please specify the Garmin
Communicator Plugin version you are using.
Latest Version 2.9.2.0

My pleasure.....and thank you for creating such an awesome piece of software. I
hated going back and forth between GTC and ST all the time. Now I can do
everything
in one place with a much better interface.

You're welcome.

I checked otu quickly on my PC and wasn't able to reproduce the problem you
mention. Do you get this all the time? Is it for all types of target (I think
I
tried speed)? If yo uget it all the time, sending me your logbook would help
me
debug this problem.

Thanks

So far I get the problem all the time. However, it is only for the speed
target that
it occurs. It does not happen for cadence, heart rate or power.

I have attached my logbook to hopefully help with diagnosis.

Excellent. I'm glad to hear it didn't seem like too much of a chore to
diagnose.

Is there any way to get an automatic notification when new versions are
released?

Apart from what's available in SportTracks ("update available" when going in the
plugins page) I don't plan on putting update popups. They personally annoy me
so I'm
not adding them. I'll close this issue when it gets fixed so you'll receive an
e-mail notification I suppose.
