This is a known issue with the latest ST version. It used to work with 310XT
on early ST3 releases but now it stopped working. I'm unsure what the problem
is but I've planned to rewrite this code to be ST independent.
There is a workaround in the mean time :

Wonderful!!!
Also will support the advanced power workout export directly to Edge 500 and
705?

FIT file support is planned so that will take care of the 500
For the 705, Garmin has promised to deliver in the next release of the
Communicator plugin so it's in their hands. I plan on using direct file export
so I won't have to wait after them.

I know but is the communicator plug in that should allow to send into the
device (Edge 500, 705 and FR 310XT) :-p
With your latest version for ST3 i'm not able to drag and drop the workout into
calendar :-|
Original comment by andre7...@gmail.com

GTC doesn't use the communicator plugin for data transfer, it has its own
mechanism.
There never was drag&drop for scheduling, you have buttons to schedule on a
given date.

Ok thanks a lot :-)
Stand-by for the new communicator that should than allow to export directly
into device the workout ;-) isn't it?

I read what you suggest me, i change in Garmin Fitness plugin -> profile speed
with pace, but creating an advanced workout under running and exporting into FR
310 XT (now is working VERY well) and loading the workout STILL changing to
multisport and going to speed instead pace :-(

The section you should have read is the following :
http://code.google.com/p/garminworkouts/wiki/Settings#Garmin_activity_categories
Basically, since I use the categories as defined in ST you must configure the
plugin to match it to the Garmin category. If you don't do this it is set to
"Other" by default and that Garmin catagory uses speed, not pace. So make sure
you set the Garmin category to running for your running workouts and that your
profile is also set to pace for running.

use by answering this though :
