At some kernel/OS release for the BBB between 2016 deployment and now, the I2C bus mapping on the BBB has changed, such that PSCU devices on pins 19/20 are now mapped to I2C bus 2. Currently the adapter device initialisation doesn't explicitly identify the bus, but assumes a value of 1 when no number is specified. This needs to be explicit, ideally propagating down from a config file parameter.
