Wrong Description for Static Components

Hello,

for the Breen Race the Static Components are not ordered right. The Description dont fit to the Name of the Component.

UI/game/include/static/static_components_8.php

e.g.: Bio-Konverter MK I Das Fluidgeschütz ist die leichteste Waffe, die erzeugt werden kann. Es ist billig, jedoch nicht sehr effektiv und kann nur auf kleinen Schiffen (+ Transportschiffen und Kolonisierern) eingesetzt werden.

could you be more specific? All the components are in the wrong order? It's a problem related only to the German translation?

Hi @kirirur, yes it's only related to the German translation i think (i can't read italian). I think not all are in the wrong order. Some are right. eg. Bio-Konverter MK V Diese Version wurde entwickelt, um den Strombedarf der Flaggschiffe der Flotte erfüllen seems right.

I try to correct them.

it's really complicated and not so easy to reorder the translation. It seems the translated german text doesn't fit probably in there. I think it will take some time to correct.

Hi everybody, if I recall correctly Breen components were the most difficult to translate from the German, maybe the correct version are the descriptions that you have and English and Italian should be corrected instead.

i take a look in to the file and find something special. I found in the file static_components_8_ITA.php double array 2 at bioconverter. not the same in static_components_8.php.

Hello all,

I mean that when years ago we downloaded STFC from sourceforge, it was an unfinished adaptation from the original version of STGC done by the original authors of the game. We saw Breen components were unfinished and tried to fix them. We don't speak german, so we try to translate the descriptions with the help of google and a friend of mine that knows some german words. Taking in account this, it could be possible that even if unfinished, the german version of the components could be the more correct. Since you're german speaking, you could compare german and english file and try to fix them, I'll then start from the english file to translate them into italian.

Besides, I'll take a look to the array you're speaking about.

EDIT: Found it! Yes, you're right: there are a wrong index in the italian file, I don't know if this is enough to mess everything as @Saboti wrote.
