Add latest SSL works into live version #31

Did you test the branch?

Hi there, unfortunately I'm not yet at the skill to be able to test it. All I know is I have SSL set up on port 5000 and it can detect the NAS is on, but cannot detect anything else. I thought if this became the main branch, the fixes you've added may make this work.

What is the easiest way to test this? Sorry for being basic..
