Hello, I had decide to wait because now I believe @stickz you can reply ? Almost 2 weeks have past (since the 29 September 2024).
As you can probably guess, that's right I had notice the last commit made on the LibTorrent-rakshasa and the rTorrent-rakshasa which apparently has result to a real new version (for the both : rTorrent-v0.10.0 and LibTorrent-v0.14.0 which sound surprising after 5 years). Could you explain (provide) the details about the installation ? Because for the moment, I don't want (plan) to reinstall everything (my OS etc).
By the way, could tell me (us) that are the difference with the LibTorrent-arvidn ? To resume, there is probably a bunch of people which wants to install the "qbittorrent-nox" (not easy) because I (we) won't be surprise if rakshasa decide to vanish again (that's just a fact).
Let's hope you will understand.
Hello @WagnerGMD, changes from rTorrent stickz are being sent to rTorrent rakshasa. rTorrent stickz is always ahead with the latest bleeding edge improvements. There is nothing (major) that rakshasa has which stickz does not.
Most people who use rTorrent always use ruTorrent which is currently in active development. There are a lot of features that ruTorrent has which qBittorrent does not. The latest ruTorrent version 5 branch offers native support for mobile devices. This allows you to mange your torrent client from your cell phone - anywhere in the world.
ruTorrent v5.1 (which I would recommend using) is going to become stable in 2 weeks. Here is our roadmap for development. I hope this information helps to answer your comparison questions. https://github.com/Novik/ruTorrent/discussions/2740
What would you like changed about the torrent client?
Hello, could tell me (us) which branch are include in your project ? Because at this moment, we can't determine @stickz if you provide : only the stable version (of rTorrent-v0.9.8 and LibTorrent-v0.13.8) ? For the record :
Describe the solution you'd like and propose possible alternatives.
As example :
Provide information and resources about the environment hosting rTorrent
