There are various places where malloc and free are used - it would be nice to be able to specify functions to be used in their place

Implemented for Saves and Projects.
There are some other structures that malloc, such as Chain, Table, etc. They might end up getting removed in the big 2.0.0 overhaul anyway, so I'll leave those as is for now.
Not sure what to do with errors yet, gotta give that some thought (see #72).

Conclusion: not ready for merging yet, but on its way.

Alright, this works now. Still gotta think about errors, but that's a separate issue.
