the plain text mail with the encrypted block of text is the expected behavior
but received an empty email with 2 attachments

I have the same problem and think this should be high priority to fix ... it
seems APG simply doesn't work for emails sent by gpg.

According to other info I've found on the web, gpg sends emails using the
official standard format, but APG actually only works for a non-standard format
known as inline-pgp and just leaves standard encrypted emails as encrypted
attachments!

I'm disappointed that it seems I just can't read emails on my phone unless I
ask people to re-send them unencrypted (most people I know are using Apple
laptops nowadays).

Is there anything I can do to help get this working in APG?

Thanks, but it's not really an option for me to tell everyone who might email
me to reconfigure their mail client to send non-standard encrypted mails to
everyone just because I'd like to read my mails on an android device. That's
why I would really like to get the APG bug fixed.
