Kill explorer on startup #1

Let's look at killing explorer.exe when ampm starts up, and restoring it when it closes. This would disable the taskbar, windows charms, etc.

Killing explorer at startup is easy, but starting it up again automatically is hard.

An alternate solution:

set: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell to: taskmgr.exe

When you log on, you see nothing, but ctrl-shift-esc brings up task manager, and File > Run New Task is there which can be used to run explorer.
