"Delete original files after import" setting does not work #107

Stingle Photos Version: 2.7.2 Andriod Version: 11 LineageOS Version: 18.1

With the "delete original files after import" setting on, original files are auto-imported into Stingle Photos, but their original unencrypted version does not get deleted. The original is still accessibly from Gallery and file managers.

Related Information: When importing media manually, I am always met with this popup:

popup

Maybe whatever is causing this popup is also blocking Stingle Photos from auto-deleting upon import. Stingle Photos has been granted the "allow access to media only" permission.

This is a known problem and it caused by Android's new storage restrictions. We are working to fix it.

this does work now (android 11) but you have to allow stingle to modify each individual photo, which can be pain when importing a lot of photos. it would be better if stingle requested the access all files permission
